I’m back…I can’t believe it’s been 6 months since I’ve been back with a new blog post. Life definitely got busy, and while I may have missed out this year on covering all things summer—fashion and beauty trends, travel, just to name a few—I feel like it’s never too late to share some of my favorite things that came out of the past few months…& if you couldn’t already tell from the title of this post, I’m talking makeup and skincare.

Summer may be over, but there are some products that are just too good to leave behind in the heat…& from skin prep all the way through to finishing touches, these products can be used to define and highlight some of your favorite facial features, while also helping to create that oh-so desired natural looking glow throughout any and every season.

For Skin Prep-

rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid

When Hailey Bieber is involved, expect nothing less than perfect glazed donut skin. A serum meets moisturizer combination, the Peptide Glazing Fluid is one of the last products I use before bed for night-long hydration, and one of the first products I use in the morning as a glowing base for my day’s makeup. 

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter

As close as it gets to applying a filter to your face…this product can be used alone as a foundation, or as a primer to set the glowing stage for the rest of your makeup.

Currently using Shade 2-Fair-Peachy Beige for Light Skin Tones… used Shade 3-Fair-Warm Peach for Light to Medium Skin Tones during the summer for a more tanned look.

For defining your facial features-

Meet your new favorite highlighter…I’ve tried my fair share of highlighters over the years, but have always found my way back to this one. With just a few swipes of your favorite makeup brush, your skin will be perfectly shimmering in all of the right places.

For finishing touches-

Kylie Skin Kybrow Gel

If you’re only going to use one product on your brows, this should be it. The fine comb included with this product, in combination with the clear gel, allows you to sculpt and “set” your eyebrows for the day ahead…& yes, this gel truly holds my brows in place for the. entire. day.

Skincare that doubles as makeup…say less. Another favorite of mine from Hailey Bieber’s skincare line, the Peptide Lip Treatment keeps lips soft and hydrated all day and all night. There are currently three delicious flavors to choose from, and I’m lucky enough to have been able to get my hands on all of them…so, I like to use the unscented as my nighttime lip care product, and either Watermelon or Salted Caramel during the day as my go-to lip gloss.

As you can, most likely, tell, I love trying makeup and skincare products, and these products have very quickly become staples in my day and night routines.
