The Perfect Everyday Handbag
When it comes to my “carried” accessories, specifically my choice of bag, I’m all about convenience. Of course, this preference changes depending on the time of the year—I tend to carry more with me in the colder months, so I’ll typically opt for a larger bag—and the occasion I’m getting ready for, but these days, I’m finding that less is definitely more.
Whether I’m out shopping at the mall, running errands, or grabbing a bite to eat with family or friends at this time of year, I like to have everything that I may need at a given time—cards for payment, my phone, lip gloss, hand sanitizer—within easy reach…and in my opinion, limiting the amount of time spent digging through a purse to find what you need makes the time spent out so much more relaxing.
With that, let me introduce to you the latest and greatest addition to my handbag collection: The MZ WALLACE Micro Crosby Crossbody Bag in black…
In my opinion, this is the perfect bag for any and every occasion, especially days spent on-the-go. It’s small enough to make finding what you need easy, but big enough to fit everything that you truly want and need to have on you during your time out…If I had to describe it, I would say that it’s the bag that fits everything you need and absolutely nothing that you don’t.
…I’m sure you’re now wondering what actually fits in a bag of this size. Well, if you’re someone that likes to travel light, and bring only your phone, keys, and some forms of payment with you whenever you leave the house, then this bag is the ideal size for you. It has three separate spaces for cards in the main compartment of the bag, as well as enough room, and then some, to easily fit my iPhone 11 (for reference). There is also a slim front pocket for additional storage. However, if you’re like me, and prefer to carry your phone in your hand or pocket when you’re out (for instant access), then this purse can fit even more. In the main pocket of this bag, I, personally, keep my Driver’s License and three forms of payment, a mirror, a lip gloss, tissues, a pen, and a bottle of hand sanitizer, while leaving a little extra space for my car and house key. I choose to keep the slim front pocket empty in order to preserve the shape of the bag, but that’s just personal preference!
…And I would be remiss if I didn’t touch upon the simple, yet elevated look of the purse. With its sleek black exterior, red accents along the crossbody strap and zippers, and additional small chain strap hanging across the front, this purse can be paired with countless different looks. The simplicity of the black exterior makes it fit seamlessly within a more casual outfit, while the red accents and added chain make it so it can also be styled within a more elevated look.
